For Christmas of 2016 I went with Melissa and her family to go see the Mother land - South Africa. We spent six weeks in Cape Town and the Garden Route which runs up the South-West coast of the Western Cape.
Most of our time was spent staying in the Bach you see below which was design and built by Melissa's grandfather Roelof Sarel UYTENBOGAARDT (don't even try saying that last name) who is a very famous architect who won multiple design awards in South Africa, the United States and in Rome.
We had one day we were about to leave to go for a swim and some students who were visiting Cape Town from the UK pulled up outside the house to take photos and were very excited to find Roelof's own family staying in the house.
